When Holly Sydelle isn't living in the jungle releasing rehabilitated sloths back into the wild, or helping save an endangered lizard out in the middle of nowhere in Western Australia, she spends her spare time writing fiction. Soon to become a doctor of biology, Holly has a love for communication, from presenting at international science conferences, to publishing in scientific journals. Her joy for communication expands into a love of storytelling, a skill she has honed through Reading Creatively/Writing Creatively studies at the University of Western Australia, and workshop learning such as at the Rainforest Writing Retreat in Queensland, Australia. Holly's scientific background gives her a unique and authentic perspective, particularly within the science-fiction genre, which is a perfect mix of her two favourite things: science and creative writing.
